Situated on an exceptional ‘Terroir’’ the Château is the immediate neighbour of the Châteaux Angélus & Beauséjour Duffau-Lagarrosse (1er Grand Cru Classé Saint-Emilion). Mazerat has belonged to the same family for 5 generations.
The bouquet is concentrated red fruits with a discreet hint of wood.
Powerful & robust, it has a good length in the mouth.
Soil : Mainly Clay & Limestone
Average Age of the vines : 40 years

Raised in oak wood 12-14 months (1/3 of new oak)
